Update: The Bengals are hoping Nick Vigil’s knee injury is just a sprain. Though, not much is known as of now. The same is true of Darqueze Dennard’s shoulder injury.
Bengals crossing their fingers Vigil (knee) and Dennard (shoulder) have sprains. Will know more tomorrow

The Bengals and Steelers are notorious for banging each other up. The Steelers have suffered a few injuries of their own and the Bengals have their first addition to that list with linebacker Nick Vigil. Vigil has been ruled out of the game with a left knee injury. That’s a pretty bad sign for the Bengals’ linebacker depth.
Vigil was hit with a block and went down on a first quarter play. It led to 20 yard James Conner run. Vigil went down and was quickly met by the trainers on the field. He was seen going to the locker room nearly immediately.
Vigil was replaced by Vincent Rey initially, but we will likely see Hardy Nickerson Jr. and Jordan Evans as well if Vigil will miss an extended amount of time. This would be a big loss, as Vigil leads the NFL in stops (tackles causing an offensive failure), according to Pro Football Focus.
We will update as more information becomes available.
