The Injuries keep piling up in the Bengals secondary.
Shawn Williams is the most recent Bengal to exit Sunday’s game against the Steelers. The safety has been ruled out with concussion.
He had exited the game before the Bengals’ goal line stand in the third quarter, but he returned the next drive. Then he was run over by Pittsburgh running back James Conner.
Following that, the trainers walked Williams back to the locker room where he was being looked at for a concussion. He was replaced by Clayton Fejedelem who was replacing Jessie Bates III. Bates returned to the game after being evaluated for a concussion himself.
The Bengals are already thin in the secondary as William Jackson was already iffy to play coming into the game, Darqueze Dennard has been ruled out with a shoulder injury and Bates already leaving the game once already.
We will update as more information becomes available.
