The Cincinnati Bengals have announced their inactives for tonight’s matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
For the Bengals, the following players are out tonight:
- LB Nick Vigil
- RB Giovani Bernard
- CB Darqueze Dennard
- TE Tyler Kroft
- WR Josh Malone
- OL Billy Price
- DL Josh Tupou
Nearly every player out tonight was either declared out Friday or has been a regular inactive this season. The only question was with safety Shawn Williams, who was questionable with a concussion. He is active tonight.
The surprise healthy scratch is Josh Malone. He’s been active every game this season but hasn’t produced, and John Ross is healthy now, taking Malone out is a reasonable move.
As for the Chiefs, the following players are out:
- LB Justin Houston
- OL Mitch Morse
- S Eric Berry
- RB Darrel Williams
- OL Kahlil McKenzie
- DL Justin Hamilton
- LB Nate Orchard
There aren’t any surprises here, as center Mitch Morse (concussion) was ruled out, while linebacker Justin Houston (hamstring) and safety Eric Berry (heel) were doubtful. Those are still three big losses for the Chiefs, especially for a defense that’s been among the NFL’s worst this season.
