The Bengals and Dolphins have announced their inactives for their Week 5 matchup.

On Cincinnati’s side, most of these names were already a given since guys like John Ross and Giovani Bernard had already been ruled out on Friday.

The big news is Vontaze Burfict is active and expected to start this week. It’s never a guarantee a player is active in his first game back following a prolonged absence, especially since Burfict missed most of training camp and the preseason with a hamstring and then ankle injury, and then was suspended for the first four games due to a PED violation.

But Burfict worked hard during his ban to ensure he was ready to rock as soon as he was eligible to return, which comes today against the Dolphins.

On the other side, Miami has been hit hard on the injury front, as they’ll have several key starters sitting out today, the most notable being Cameron Wake.

WR DeVante Parker

Miami had several players listed as questionable on the final injury report, including wide receiver DeVante Parker. He is inactive, which is a good thing for the Bengals defense.

Starting safeties T.J. McDonald and Reshad Jones were also both listed as questionable, but they’ll suit up today for the Dolphins.

Andre Branch is also out, so Miami is without both of its top defensive ends.
