Bengals TE Tyler Kroft suffers foot injury vs. Dolphins

The tight end room just suffered another injury that it can’t afford.

The Bengals came into Sunday’s game against the Dolphins already wondering how they would recover after losing Tyler Eifert for the season.

That question just got harder to answer as Tyler Kroft left Sunday’s game with a right foot injury. He’s now questionable to return.

The Bengals are left with C.J. Uzomah and Mason Schreck at tight end without Kroft in the lineup. Uzomah does already have a big catch-and-run on a screen play earlier in the game, but losing Kroft is still a big hit to the depth of this position.

Fans remember Kroft for his seven touchdowns last season, but he hasn’t had the same success this season. He only has four catches for 36 yards on the season with no touchdowns. Without Eifert some may have assumed Kroft would get more use, but he didn’t have a target prior to leaving the game against the Dolphins.
