It’s finally here.

Week 6 will see the Cincinnati Bengals finally get their shot at the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have won five straight in the series. Several of those, however, saw the Bengals give away late leads, and this has been a game they’ve hard marked on the calendar for some time.

Now, the Bengals will get their chance to take down the Steelers, and they’ll be favored to do so. The initial Week 6 lines have the Bengals favored by 2.5 points in the friendly confines of Paul Brown Stadium.

Pittsburgh enters the game at 3-2-1 after a dominating win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5. They did so without the services of All-Pro running back Le’Veon Bell, who continues his holdout and is unlikely to play this week.

The Steelers have gotten great production from second-year man James Conner, but he’s still not nearly the back that Bell is, so this will be a big loss once again.

As for the Bengals, they may have been looking ahead to this big matchup, as they came out very sloppy against the Dolphins, falling behind 17-0 midway through the third quarter before reeling off 27-straight points to cruise to a double-digit win, their third such win this season.

The Bengals have also won three-straight home games dating back to last season, though their last home defeat came to these Steelers on Monday Night Football last year. That was a big the Bengals built a big lead in but collapsed in the second half.

This team feels different, and they’ll have a chance to prove so next Sunday.
