Bengals vs. Saints inactives: John Ross replaces A.J. Green

New, comment

The Bengals’ offensive line gets a shakeup as the Saints come to town, while John Ross returns to take A.J. Green’s spot.

The Bengals and Saints have announced their inactives for their Week 10 matchup.

For the Bengals, these were essentially decided on Friday, as six players were declared out, while another was listed as doubtful.

Here is who will be out today for Cincinnati:

  • LB Vontaze Burfict
  • WR A.J. Green
  • LB Nick Vigil
  • WR Josh Malone
  • OL Alex Redmond
  • CB Darqeuze Dennard
  • TE Tyler Kroft

The only guy that wasn’t 100-percent out today was Alex Redmond, who was listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury.

Billy Price has returned for the first time since Week 2 when he suffered a foot injury. In the meantime, Trey Hopkins has been starting at center. With Redmond out, Hopkins will start at right guard, while Price is re-inserted at center.

The big loss for Cincinnati is A.J. Green, who is out with his toe injury and appears unlikely to play in Week 11 vs. the Ravens. John Ross will start in his place at wide receiver.

As for the Saints, here is a look at who they’ll be without today:

  • C Will Clapp
  • DE Marcus Davenport
  • S J.T. Gray
  • G/T Chaz Green
  • DE Mitchel Loewen
  • T Michael Ola
  • LB Manti Te’o

Defensive end Marcus Davenport had already been ruled out with his toe injury. That’s a big loss for the Saints’ pass rush.
