Late in the Bengals’ blowout loss to the Saints, the team lost wide receiver John Ross yet again.
This time, it looks like Ross re-aggravated his groin injury. He came up hobbling after making a deep grab off a pass from Jeff Driskel with the game well out of hand with under seven minutes to play.
This would be the perfect cherry on top of what’s been an absolute disaster for the Bengals. Ross has been battling a groin injury he suffered in Week 4 vs. the Falcons. It’s cost him several games, and he’s already returned too soon once only to re-injure it. It looks like he may have just done that again.
If Ross is out along with A.J. Green, the Bengals will be down to Cody Core, Auden Tate, Tyler Boyd and Alex Erickson. Josh Malone is already out with a hamstring injury.
We will update this story as more details come out...
