Hue 's Back Home
It could have been 2004. Here was Hue Jackson walking through the Bengals locker room on his way to throw some lunch into a Styrofoam tray to take back to his office when he overheard a reporter talking to left end Carlos Dunlap about the perils of defending Ravens rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson if he plays Sunday (1 p.m.-Cincinnati’s Channel 12) in Baltimore.

Matchup Of The Game: Lewis Brings The Energy After Providing Jolt
Bengals middle linebacker Preston Brown joked that during Wednesday’s meeting to install the defense for Sunday’s game in Baltimore (1 p.m.-Cincinnati’s Channel 12) the font of Lewis’ power point presentation was too small and the players had to pull out their iPads. But it’s pretty clear that Lewis has put his formidable defensive reputation on the line by taking over the DC job for the first time in a move that has energized him to no end.

Dalton, Lewis Press Conference Transcripts - 11/14
“It’s good to have him here. He’s an asset, and he’s definitely going to help out, especially with what Marvin is going to be doing with the defense now. He’s another place of communication with everything going on, on the sidelines. We’ll see how it goes, but I don’t see there being any kind of issue with it.”

Andy Dalton saw his old offensive coordinator meeting a media mob as he walked to the field Wednesday and shouted with a smile, “We’ve got practice, Hue,” and Hue Jackson laughed a homecoming laugh.

Bengals and Hamilton County Agree on Music Venue
For two and a half decades after Riverfront Stadium was built, the Cincinnati riverfront was a desolate wasteland. Parking lots, abandoned warehouses, former trainyards, little life.

Davontae Harris Cleared For Practice
Harris, a rookie from Illinois State University, was placed on Reserve/Injured on Sept. 3 due to a knee injury he suffered during preseason. He was a Bengals fifth-round draft pick this year.

Another NFL QB debut looms for Bengals
From Brock Berlin (a 2007 win) to Deshaun Watson (a 2017 loss), Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is 3-4 against quarterbacks making their first NFL start, according to Elias. Of course, he’s 0-0 as a head coach/defensive coordinator when he makes his debut as both Sunday (1 p.m.-Cincinnati’s Channel 12) in Baltimore.

Green Nominated for Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award
A panel of former players from the NFL Legends Community will select eight finalists (four in the AFC and four in the NFC) from the 32 nominees. The eight finalists will be listed on the Pro Bowl ballot under the NFL Sportsmanship Award category when players vote on Friday, December 14.

Bengals injury report: 12 players listed Wednesday, including 4 LBs
Those Bengals have a new defensive coordinator in Marvin Lewis — but he’s leading a unit that listed four linebackers on Wednesday’s injury report:

Hue Jackson happy to 'come on home' to Bengals; focus on defense
CINCINNATI -- Former Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson heard the speculation that he could be back with the Cincinnati Bengals after he was fired by Cleveland on Oct. 29, and he hoped there was something to it.

Broo View: For the Bengals, everything old is new again. This will fix everything!
To refresh your memory, Jackson left the Bengals once and went to the Oakland Raiders. The most dynamic thing he did there was trade for Carson Palmer and send a couple of draft picks back to Cincinnati. When Jackson flamed out there, guess where his soft landing spot was?

Peters pressured Doug Baldwin as the Seahawks receiver burst off the line, but he held onto Baldwin just a little too long, before he turned and picked off a haphazard pass from Russell Wilson. An official threw a flag, and Peters appeared bewildered that he'd drawn a penalty.
