The Bengals may not have A.J. Green back after all.
The star wide receiver was expected to practice this week, but he was unable to do so Thursday, meaning he’s missed the first two practices this week. Green needs to get in a full session on Friday to feel good about his chances of playing Sunday vs. Cleveland.
Also not practicing Thursday was cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, whose shoulder injury has him in danger of missing Sunday’s clash with the Browns.
Left tackle Cordy Glenn returned to get in a limited session. Linebacker Nick VIgil remained out and is unlikely to make his return Sunday.
Backup running back Mark Walton returned to get in a full practice after missing Wednesday with an illness.
As for the Browns, center JC Tretter remained out, so he looks unlikely for Sunday. Tight end David Njoku was limited again with his ankle injury and looks iffy to face the Bengals.
Happy Thanksgiving!
