The Bengals fell to the Chargers in Los Angeles and have yet to win a game since the end of October.
Cincinnati actually looked like a competent team for most of this contest, but plenty of boneheaded penalties and decisions costed them the chance at a victory this week. The loss stings even more considering the Steelers and Ravens each lost close games as well.
The Bengals have now dropped five straight games, and the once 4-1 team we saw start the season seems so long ago.
Here are the best social media reactions from the Bengals’ loss to the Chargers:

Chargers win 26-21.
At this point, I’d have more respect for Mike Brown & the Browns if they’d just come out and admit: “y’all know we’re just riding it out until the PBS lease expires and then it’s hellooooo San Diego, right?!”#Bengals #CINvsLAC

My 13 year old asked me today why I'm a #Bengals fan. I told her because I'm devoted despite years of mediocrity. The truth is, I honestly don't know why. @LanceMcAlister

I’d like to thank the young men who haven’t given up on this season and played their asses off in LA. It must be beyond frustrating to be a professional athlete and play for this hot garbage dumpster fire of a trash organization. Shame on brown family for not selling this team.

Hue Jackson has done a lot of truly awe inspiring things but this might be his greatest masterstroke -- He has taken two different teams to last place in the AFC North in the same season. pic.twitter.com/iSn1Np20nG
