The Bengals are hoping to get several players back from extended absences when thy host the Raiders on Sunday.
Wednesday saw Tony McRae (concussion) and Cordy Glenn (back) return to practice, albeit in a limited capacity, which was the level of work they got in on Thursday. They both need a full session on Friday to ensure they play Sunday.
Dre Kirkpatrick (concussion) returned in a limited capacity on Thursday. He still needs to clear the concussion protocol to be cleared for Sunday.
Michael Johnson and Vontaze Burfict remain sidelined with their own concussions and appear highly unlikely to play Sunday. That means Hardy Nickerson probably gets another start at middle linebacker while Jordan Willis starts at defensive end.

The Raiders offensive line is still very questionable heading into Sunday. Starting guards Gabe Jackson (elbow/ankle) and Kelechi Osemele (toe) remained sidelined on Thursday and center Rodney Hudson (ankle/knee) remained limited.
