The Bengals’ injury bug is still alive and well, and it’s hit another star player.
In his first game back after missing a month with a foot injury, A.J. Green went down early in the second quarter against the Broncos holding the same foot he injured back in October.
Green was carted off and has since been declared out for the game.

Green had just one catch for seven yards before he exited the game, and that will be his final stat-line for the game. Alex Erickson will replace him in the lineup, and Cody Core is the only receiver left outside of Erickson, Tyler Boyd and John Ross.
Green was later seen leaving the stadium with a boot on his right foot.

It’s safe to think Green may not play another game this season. Hopefully, this doesn’t turn out to be anything that will involve a long rehab process that seems him miss offseason workouts.
