2018 is coming to a close, as the Cincinnati Bengals complete yet another disappointing campaign. There is just one game left on the schedule, which is the rematch against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Bengals’ bitter rivals need a win to get into the postseason next Sunday, but even with the possibility of knocking them out of the playoffs, should we even want the Bengals to emerge victorious? After all, this team needs high picks in next year’s draft to supplement the roster.
Meanwhile, another old rivalry has been rekindled thanks to the Browns’ improvement and sweeping of Cincinnati this season. Baker Mayfield’s brash behavior has become national headlines, particularly in his goading of assistant coach Hue Jackson. What do we make of the newest enemy?
And, with the new year approaching, goals and resolutions are being made. What should the Bengals resolve to accomplish or fix in 2019?
