The 2017 NFL season is officially over after the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52.

Almost as soon as the final second ticked off the clock, oddsmakers began releasing their odds for the winner of Super Bowl 53.

As you can imagine, the Cincinnati Bengals were in the bottom half of teams with the best odds to win it all in the 2018 NFL season. Their 66-1 odds were tied for the third-lowest odds.

But fret not, as the Eagles were getting the same amount of respect this time last year. After all, Philadelphia finished the 2016 season with a 7-9 record, less than a full game better than the 6-9-1 Bengals.

On the day after Super Bowl 51, the Eagles were actually tied with the Bengals at 50-1 odds to win Super Bowl 52. It just goes to show that with a good offseason and the right pieces falling into place, the Bengals can become a contender next season.
