While NFL free agency is the first offseason event in which teams can acquire new players, the NFL draft is easily the most exciting one.
There, all 32 NFL teams get seven rounds to try and find future NFL players to build their franchise around. The Cincinnati Bengals hold the No. 12 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, but they’ve built most of their roster with players taken after Round 1.
That includes Clint Boling, Russell Bodine, Andy Dalton, Giovani Bernard, Geno Atkins, Carlos Dunlap, Carl Lawson, George Iloka, Shawn Williams, Kevin Huber and Michael Johnson among others.
Including compensatory selections, the Bengals figure to have around 11 picks in this year’s draft, and there could be more depending on if AJ McCarron is traded as a restricted free agent.
