The Cincinnati Bengals were looking at safeties in free agency as they made a strong push for Kurt Coleman and brought in Eric Reid. While the team has two safeties that should not be looked over, they are both better suited at the free safety position. The Bengals are in need of a player at strong safety that is versatile and a playmaker.

A person familiar with the situation tells The Associated Press that the Baltimore Ravens have offered New Orleans Saints restricted free agent receiver Willie Snead a two-year, $10.4 million contract. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because neither the Saints nor Ravens have announced the move.

The date which Restricted Free Agents (RFAs) had to sign their tender was quickly approaching, and Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo followed teammate Chris Boswell’s lead by signing his original round tender, per a source close to ProFootballTalk. The news means Chickillo will spend the 2018 season with the Steelers before hitting the free agent market after this season, barring a new contract being agreed upon between the two parties.
