Familiar refrain: Bengals look to offensive help in draft
Andy Dalton hasn’t seen this much change in the Bengals’ offense since his rookie season. He’s expecting even more when the NFL draft begins on Thursday. For the second straight year, the Bengals need a lot of help on offense. They chose receiver John Ross and running back Joe Mixon with their first two picks last season, hoping to inject big plays into an offense that had declined.
Bengals Studs and Duds in recent drafts
The Cincinnati Bengals are finishing up their big draft board as we draw closer to the NFL draft. With only two days away before the team makes their first selection in the first round of the draft, barring some kind of trade, fans are getting excited to see the outcome. With all of the mock drafts floating around, everyone is ready to see how the draft finally plays out.
Cincinnati Bengals: Round-by-round mock draft
In my first two mock drafts I had the team selecting a tackle in the first round, and I’m sticking with it for my final mock. Center, safety and linebacker also will be in play, but even with the acquisition of Cordy Glenn from the Buffalo Bills, drafting a tackle at 21 makes the most sense if one of the top two on the Bengals board are available, and I think they will be.
5 things to know about Cincinnati Bengals draft
One year after drafting one of the least productive first-round picks in franchise history, the Cincinnati Bengals will be back on the clock Thursday night when the NFL Draft gets underway in Dallas. Last year’s first-found pick, wide receiver John Ross, was injured most of the year and ended up playing 17 snaps with no catches, one rush and one lost fumble as the Bengals posted a second-consecutive losing season.
2018 NFL Draft: Full seven round mock of Cincinnati Bengals picks
The Bengals own 11 picks in the draft, which kicks off Thursday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and runs through Saturday. Their allotment includes two third-round picks and three fifth-round selections. Predicting specifically out of the millions of possible ways the board could break and how players could fall is impossible, but that doesn’t mean we won’t give it a shot. This is meant somewhat to point out potential sleepers, but more about when and how they would address specific roster needs.
Scouting Anthony
Anthony Munoz, the greatest left tackle who ever lived, punched out the only NFL coach that came to visit him in that prehistoric pre-draft season of 1980. Three major collegiate knee surgeries sentenced him to the longest exams of each of the half dozen or so scouting combines that prospects were then subjected. He played only one full game his senior year, the last one in the Rose Bowl.
Goodberry: Bengals’ final seven-round mock draft – The Athletic
We’ve made it. The NFL Draft is upon us and the predictions and mock drafts can stop... after this one. Here’s my final mock draft with what I think the Cincinnati Bengals will do this weekend.

2018 NFL Draft is loaded with talent for the Steelers to choose from
If these pages are any guide, Steeler fans live in terror that all four of our ILB targets are bound to be gone at the 28th pick overall, and that only some second rate prospects will remain. Nonsense. This draft class has so much quality that Kevin Colbert will either get his man at ILB/Safety or an even more talented player somewhere else.
2018 NFL Draft Trade Rumors: Browns Having 'A Lot of Conversations' on No. 4 Pick
The Cleveland Browns have entertained discussions about trading the No. 4 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday. Pelissero described the conversations as "normal due diligence," so it wouldn't appear the Browns are aggressively shopping the lower of their two first-round picks.
