The Bengals are signing Hawaii safety Trayvon Henderson who the team expressed interest in back at his pro day. The 6’, 200 pound defensive back was ball hawk for the Rainbow Warriors.

He was expected to be a Round 5-6 pick, so this is a nice grab for the Bengals who can use some defensive back depth for the offseason. Henderson is known as a decent athlete who is aggressive and is a striker. But, he’s a bit undersized, lacks speed over the top and didn’t play against the stiffest competition.
In five seasons spent at Hawaii, including an injured 2015 campaign in which he only played two games, Henderson racked up 237 tackles, 5.0 sacks, 9 interceptions, 13 passes defensed, 2 fumble recoveries and 1 forced fumble.
