Joseph is a 6’1”, 242 pounder who spent four seasons at UConn with the Huskies. He leaves college with 306 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 1 interception, 5 passes defensed, 3 fumble recoveries and 2 forced fumbles.
The Bengals drafted Malik Jefferson in Round 3 and also are reportedly signing linebacker Chris Worley out of Ohio State as an undrafted free agent. They’ll join Vontaze Burfict, Preston Brown, Jordan Evans, Vincent Rey, Hardy Nickerson and Brandon Bell in the linebacker room. Burfict will face a four-game suspension to start the season. He was once an undrafted player, as were Rey, Nickerson and Bell. Clearly the Bengals have had a lot of success with undrafted linebackers. Will Joseph be the next to make the roster?
