After going 7-9 in 2017, the Bengals have enjoyed a very productive offseason.
They added instant-impact players in free agency and the NFL Draft while retaining most of last year’s roster. Along with having one of the easiest schedules in 2018, one would think that would lead to favorable win projections for next season.
Not so at BetDSI Sportsbook. Their latest odds have the Bengals’ over/under for wins set at 5. Yes, they think the Bengals will win five games in 2018 while playing in a division that features the 0-16 Browns.
In total, the Bengals will have seven games in 2018 against teams that finished with a worse record in 2017, including the Raiders, Colts and Buccaneers.
Yet somehow, these oddsmakers think the Bengals won’t win more than five games.
