Poll: Are you satisfied with the Bengals’ offseason so far?

The Bengals have made a number of moves this offseason, but how are you feeling about those moves before the draft?

We all knew there had to be some big changes this offseason.

Even as the Bengals won their final two regular season games, they had already secured their second losing season in a row. The team failed to dig themselves out of an 0-3 hole that they started the season with. As the team infused more of their younger players, they saw a little bit more success.

Still, the team had glaring weaknesses. The defense couldn’t get off the field, and the offense couldn’t convert third downs. The offensive line was also a disaster for most of the season. It didn’t help the Bengals had to make a change at offensive coordinator after Week 2 by making Bill Lazor the man in charge.

Many thought this season could have led to a head coaching change, which brings us to the first offseason move. The team ultimately decided to bring Marvin Lewis back, despite the lack of his postseason success and recent success at all. That wasn’t met with a great response, but we have seen some serious changes to the coaching staff since.

The Bengals retained Lazor, who will now have a chance to install his offense rather than run Ken Zampese’s plays. Paul Guenther also left for the Raiders paving the way for Cincinnati to add Teryl Austin, who was the Lions’ defensive coordinator last year. The Bengals longtime offensive line coach Paul Alexander also left for the Cowboys, as the Cowboys’ offensive line coach, Frank Pollack, came to replace Alexander.

The Bengals also made several personnel moves this offseason. One of the first ones was not picking up Adam Jones’ option for his contract making him a free agent.

The biggest move, though, was the team trading the 12th overall pick and a sixth round for Cordy Glenn and the 21st overall pick and a fifth round pick from the Bills. The Bengals also added the Bills former middle linebacker in Preston Brown via free agency on a one-year deal. The team also lost players like Russell Bodine and Chris Smith via free agency.

With all of that in mind how satisfied are you with how the team has handled this offseason?
