According to the team’s official website, first-round pick Billy Price will wear No. 53. The number was most recently worn by linebacker Marquis Flowers, who was traded to the New England Patriots prior to the start of the 2017 season.
Prior to Flowers, linebackers Michael Boley and Thomas Howard also wore that number. The last center to wear it was Eric Ghiaciuc.
No. 94 is coming back to Paul Brown Stadium, but instead of Domata Peko wearing it, that number will now be worn by third-round defensive end sam Hubbard. The Bengals are hoping Hubbard also has lengthy career, as he was viewed as one of the bigger steals in this year’s draft.
Seventh-round quarterback Logan Woodside will wear No. 5, which was previously occupied by AJ McCarron, who signed with the Buffalo Bills this offseason.
Interestingly, seventh-round receiver Auden Tate will wear No. 19, so those old Brandon Tate No. 19 jerseys can actually be used once again. New Tate, same number.
Fourth-round running back Mark Walton has been assigned No. 32, so he will have Jeremy Hill’s old number.
Thankfully, for now at least, no one is wearing the No. 61 that was donned by Russell Bodine for the last four years. We could probably go a few years without seeing 61 in Paul Brown Stadium.
