The Bengals are done with OTAs and mandatory minicamp and things are about to get quiet in Cincinnati for the next month and a half. Training camp begins on July 26 and until then players will not be required to be at the stadium nor in Cincinnati.
Thursday was the final day of minicamp and it seems there were some good developments — specifically for John Ross — as well as some big-time former players in attendance.
Anthony Munoz, Tim Krumrie and Max Montoya were at practice, which took place inside Paul Brown Stadium on the new turf field.

Tyler Eifert once again did not practice, but he was present.

Ross is catching passes! Let’s all cheer for that.

Tyler Kroft, T.J. Johnson, Tra Carson, Justin Murray, Darius Phillips and Devonte Boyd are all dealing with injuries, but are also all expected to be healthy by training camp. None of their injuries have been revealed as the team has no need to do that at this point in the year.
Tyler Eifert & Tyler Kroft not on the field for the #Bengals today.

T.J. Johnson, Tra Carson & Justin Murray out here but not dressed.
Darius Phillips and Devonte Boyd in jerseys but not participating either.
It was a beautiful day in Cincinnati!

ROSS TOUCHDOWN! You can totally see it in this picture...

Auden Tate has been turning some heads. He’s not all that fast, but he’s a big-body receiver who could come in handy. He’ll need to really impress to make the roster though.
Auden Tate does it again, out fights Will Jackson and hauls in tipped pass to get both feet down in the corner of end zone. #Bengals

If you ask him, he doesn’t need to be fast though.
Ion gotta be the fastest... Big Body Benz I’m smooth wit it OMRM https://t.co/wCprhpzv2i

Some of the veterans didn’t participate in drills, leaving the work to the young guys. That included A.J. Green, Brandon LaFell and Vontaze Burfict.
On the final minicamp day, A.J. Green, Brandon LaFell and Vontaze Burfict are basically off. They’re doing install, but not the team stuff. More reps for the young guys at those spots. #Bengals

C.J. Uzomah is a big soccer fan, and will be rooting for Belgium in the World Cup.
One of the biggest talkers in the #Bengals locker room on the final day of minicamp.... #WorldCup2018 @cjuzomah81 is ALL IN on Belgium.

This is awesome news!
AJ Green says he's excited about the Bengals new offense: "I love it. We can go fast and you're going to see the numbers." @WLWT pic.twitter.com/DWU9Smr9I5

Ross already opened up about his relationship with Marvin Lewis this offseason and continued to discuss Lewis on Thursday.

John Ross: "I feel like a new person. Last week, I made a play on the defense and the offense was jumping up and down and going crazy. Just being a spark plug for the offense." #Bengals @fox19

Fast and fun are great adjectives that I hope the Bengals’ offense lives up to.
#Bengals offensive line coach, Frank Pollack tells me the new offense will be "Fast and Fun.. we have some special guys in those scoring positions so we have to do our job up front because the QB's, RB's, and receivers are fun to watch"

Joe Mixon won’t be taking any off time, despite heading home to California.
#Bengals players get 6 weeks off until Training Camp starts... @Joe_MainMixon said he's going straight to California to train. He said he's young, & doesn't need time off from football.

Mixon is also holding a youth camp on Saturday in California, which will also be attended by Marshawn Lynch, who has inspired him to give back.
Sam Hubbard made a nice play on Thursday, which is great to hear, too.
Sam Hubbard just dropped back in coverage and stayed with Joe Mixon on a deep sideline route step for step, then deflected the pass. @FOX19 #Bengals

And, that’s all! We’ll have to wait for July 26 for further on-the-field updates from the Bengals.
