The city and council members of Cincinnati have been looking at proposals for a new music venue at The Banks.
The biggest issue in the way may be the Bengals themselves. One of the best proposals from the city’s perspective is building it on one of the lots the Bengals’ use for parking. This way the city wouldn’t have to build a parking deck as well as a music venue.
This is a deal that many city leaders fear the Bengals would veto. It seems that all hope isn’t lost for a deal being made though.

Clearly, the Bengals feared they were being hit with some bad PR as being labeled the biggest roadblock to a new music venue, so they put out a plan that they favored.
It seems like this is a super complicated issue though, so it is doubtful that we will see a conclusion anytime soon. It is clear that the Bengals and city leaders are split on what the best location for the new venue is, and that could lead to no venue at all.
