The return of NFL football is closing in. We now know the Bengals will be getting another preseason game in primetime.
In Week 2, Cincinnati will be on he road to face the Dallas Cowboys, which will be broadcast nationally on the NFL Network at 7 p.m. EST on Aug. 18. This will likely be a game where we see the Bengals and Cowboys using their starters well into the second quarter, so it will be a nice barometer of where the Bengals are at as they play a road game against a 9-7 team from last year that also made the playoffs in 2016.
We also now know the game times for the rest of the Bengals’ schedule. They will have a four-game preseason slate that begins with the a home clash with the Chicago Bears in Week 1 on Aug. 9.
After playing at Dallas in Week 2, the Bengals will be back on the road to face the Buffalo Bills in Week 3 on Sunday, Aug. 30 on Fox. The Bengals’ preseason finale will come against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, August 30 at Paul Brown Stadium.
Football is almost here.
