Preseason Week 2 Primer: Cincinnati Bengals (1-0) at Dallas Cowboys (0-1)

New, comments

The Bengals look to build on some of the great things they showed during their first preseason game with a visit to Jerry’s World.

The Bengals had a fairly good debut in their 30-27 victory over the Chicago Bears.

The starting offense looked crisp, Andy Dalton looked comfortable in the new offense behind his new offensive line, and Joe Mixon had a highlight-reel worthy play where he made two defenders miss in spectacular fashion on his way to a touchdown.

The defense also showed signs of being disruptive, with Geno Atkins and Carl Lawson setting up camp in the Bears backfield for their entire time on the field.

But most importantly, the Bengals avoided any major injuries. So far, so good.

Cincinnati is now set to visit the Cowboys for their second preseason game. It will be interesting to see if the Bengals’ offensive line coach Frank Pollack makes any changes to the offensive line against team he formerly coached.

Also, wide receiver Auden Tate, who made the most of his limited opportunities last week, may get a chance to play sooner than he did against the Bears.

Here is everything you need to know for when the Bengals take on the Cowboys.
