Preseason Week 1 Primer: Cincinnati Bengals (0-0) vs. Chicago Bears (0-1)

Our first chance to see the 2018 Bengals comes against a team that absolutely dismantled Cincinnati last season.

The season is finally getting started, well sort of. The first week of the preseason is here, which means casual fans will rejoice for exactly half an hour until they remember how little the starters will actually play in this game. For the more diehard fans though, this is a chance to see some of the names we could be talking more about in a few years.

There will be plenty of young players seeing playing time who likely won’t see the field once September rolls around, so you better cherish that now. If you watch, you will also be seeing dozens of players fighting for their spot on the roster as the Bengals will need to make considerable cuts before Week 1.
