NFL Preseason Week 1: Bengals vs. Bears First Half

New, comments

Bengals football is back in Paul Brown Stadium.

The Cincinnati Bengals are back.

Tonight, we’ll finally see football back in the Queen City as the Chicago Bears come to Paul Brown Stadium.

This is the first live game action for the Bengals of any kind since ending the 2017 season on a two-game winning streak. The hope is that propels them back to a winning season this year and brings back the happy days to the Queen City.

Tonight will hopefully be the first chance we get to see newcomers Cordy Glenn, Josh Malone, Auden Tate, Preston Brown, Billy Price, Sam Hubbard and Jessie Bates in a Bengals uniform.

Because this is Preseason Week 1, we should expect both teams to play most of their starters for one series, then go straight to the backups and third-string players. While that sounds boring, many of the Bengals’ biggest storylines are with backups fighting for roster spots and even starting jobs.
