UPDATE: Early in the third quarter, A.J. Green got injured again. This time, he came down hard on his back after attempting to catch a contested pass across the middle. After staying down briefly, Green got up and walked over to the sideline, where he continues to be examined by trainers.
AJ Green was sitting on the bench, then got up and clutched his stomach. He's all the way across the field and I can tell he's in clear pain.

The team has since announced it’s a groin injury and originally said Green is probable to return, but he’s been downgraded to questionable. That doesn’t sound good. He’s currently been sitting on the sidelines, but it doesn’t look like he’s returning.
We’ll keep you posted as more details come out. In the meantime, Tyler Kroft and Andrew Billings are also injured.
The Bengals had an injury scare with star wide receiver A.J. Green against the Panthers.
Midway through the first quarter, Green suffered what looked like a head injury as he was diving for a pass in the end zone. He dove for a ball and went face first into the ground, then came up woozy before heading to the sideline to be examined by trainers.

However, it appears Green is fine and was about to go back into the game before the Bengals punched it in for a touchdown to go up 7-0 on the Panthers. The Bengals are already without Joe Mixon and Billy Price on offense, so losing Green for any stretch would be brutal for this offense, which has looked very dangerous when it’s clicking.
The good news is Tyler Boyd really stepped up on that drive and helped move the offense even when Green wasn’t touching the ball.
We will update this story if any more details come out on it.
UPDATE 1
Green is fine and back in the game.
