The Bengals will look to regroup from their first loss of 2018 when they face the Falcons in Week 4.

While Cincinnati wants to bounce back from Sunday’s debacle and prove they’re a legitimate contender, the Falcons are just trying to salvage their season before things get out of hand. After an overtime loss to the Saints, Atlanta is now 1-2 this year, and a 1-3 start could cripple their playoff hopes in a highly competitive NFC South.

Even though the Falcons are struggling, they’re currently a significant favorite at home over the Bengals in Week 4:

Six points may not sound like a lot, but in terms of NFL odds, it’s one of the bigger spreads you’ll see in a week. You have to wonder if the oddsmakers think A.J. Green isn’t going to play, or he’ll be very limited if he does. With a healthy Green, it’s hard to see the Bengals being six-point dogs to a 1-2 team.

But after the way the Bengals played Sunday — not to mention the onslaught of injuries they’ve endured in recent weeks — they deserve to be underdogs for the fourth time this year. Yes, the Bengals have yet to be favored in a game, despite being 2-1.

While winning in Atlanta won’t be easy, it’s a very winnable game for a Bengals team that needs to get back on track.
