A.J. Green is inching closer toward being active on Sunday when the Bengals take on the Falcons.
After being limited on Wednesday, Green got in a full practice during Thursday’s session. That’s a very good sign he’ll be active in Atlanta, which is great news for an offense that needs everyone they can get as Joe Mixon and Billy Price are almost certainly out.
Not all the news was good Thursday, however, as Giovani Bernard (thigh) and Cordy Glenn (knee) remained limited. If they don’t get in a full session on Friday, they’ll likely be game-time decisions.
Bernard being out would mean Mark Walton and Thomas Rawls would get the majority of touches in Atlanta. If Glenn is out, either Jake Fisher or Cedric Ogbuehi would move into the left tackle spot, and it would likely be Fisher.
Dre Kirkpatrick was unable to practice Thursday after back and groin injuries had him limited on Wednesday. If he’s out this week, Tony McRae will be playing more next to Darqueze Dennard and William Jackson.
