The Bengals will have nearly all hands on deck when they face the Falcons in Week 4.
The team released its final injury report on Friday, and only two players on the 53-man roster are unable to go. They are Billy Price (foot) and Joe Mixon (knee), who were effectively ruled out before today, so this was the expectation.
The good news is A.J. Green (pelvis), Preston Brown (ankle), Cordy Glenn (knee), Giovani Bernard (thigh), Michael Johnson (knee) and Dre Kirkpatrick (groin/back) did not get an injury designation for Sunday, signaling they’re all ready to rock in Atlanta.
All of them had at least one DNP or limited session at practice this week, but apparently, none of their injuries were enough to threaten their Week 4 status.
Green is the big news, as his injury initially looked bad enough that he may be sidelined this week. Coupled with Price and Mixon being out, that would have been a brutal loss for a Bengals team that needs a rebound after last week’s setback in Carolina.
As for the Falcons, there were no surprises on their final injury report. Star running back Devonta Freeman (knee) remains out, as does defensive end Derrick Shelby (groin).
