The Bengals won’t officially name their next head coach and subsequent coaching staff until after the Super Bowl.
However, that doesn’t prevent coaches from announcing coaching news, which is the case in Oakland, where head coach Jon Gruden just announced that Raiders quarterbacks coach Brian Callahan will be Cincinnati’s next offensive coordinator.
Our own John Sheeran got the news down in Mobile (AL) for the Senior Bowl:

Brian is the son of current Washington offensive line coach Bill Callahan, who is heavily rumored to be joining Taylor’s staff as well under the same position. The younger Callahan has just nine years of NFL coaching experience, with most of that being a quarterbacks coach, like Rams quarterbacks coach Zac Taylor, who is expected to be the Bengals’ next head coach.
The younger Callahan also coached quarterbacks for the Detroit Lions in 2016-17 before filling the same position for Oakland.
Welcome to the Queen City.
