A.J. Green is finally back at practice.
On Thursday, Green returned to the practice field with helmets and pads for the first time since Day 1 of training camp.

My guess is Green will make his season debut in Week 7. He told me today that he’s still “week-to-week”

This is an interesting development, as Zac Taylor said Monday that Green would not practice this week. Even so, this is great to see and could signal the Pro Bowl receiver will return before the bye in Week 9.
It’s unlikely Green plays vs. the Ravens this week, but he could play in Week 7 vs the Jaguars if he progresses well in practice over the next two weeks. The Bengals will then head to London to face the Rams in Week 8.
The Bengals certainly need Green as soon as possible with John Ross on injured reserve, Alex Erickson concussed, and the Bengals sitting at 0-5 with a tough stretch of games coming up. Having Green would provide some spark of life into this season and hopefully allow Taylor to show what he’s really made of when it comes to his offense.
