Bengals RG John Miller suffers groin injury

Which tight end can play offensive line for the Bengals? We may find out if this keeps up.

Update: The Bengals have ruled Miller OUT for the remainder of the game.

The Bengals came into Week 6 already thinner than most teams along the offensive line. They are now even thinner as starting right guard left the field with groin injury and is questionable to return.

Miller was a free agent signing for the Bengals this offense, and he has been solid at right guard all season long. He looked especially good after Bengals’ fans became accustomed to watching Alex Redmond start there all of last season.

Speaking of Redmond, he replaced Miller at right guard. He also saw practice time at left tackle during the week, which also gives a good indication of how thin Cincinnati is along the offensive line.

Miller being questionable to return gives the team hope that he could possibly come back, but if he can’t the Bengals will only have Michael Jordan as the only possible backup offensive lineman for the rest of the day. Needless to say, but that isn’t an ideal situation for anyone on Cincinnati’s offense.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.
