Cordy Glenn will miss at least one more game due to his lingering concussion.
On Wednesday, head coach Zac Taylor announced that Glenn is out this week when the Bengals host the Cardinals. Taylor added that A.J. Green won’t play this week, but we already knew that since he’s also expected to miss Week 6 vs. the Ravens.
Glenn has been in the NFL’s concussion protocol since suffering a concussion in Week 2 of the preseason. He self-reported the concussion and has now missed almost two full months of action.
At some point, the Bengals and Glenn have to ask themselves if it’s worth coming back this season if his concussion is that bad. Perhaps he could retire or the Bengals place him on injured reserve.
Either way, it’s untelling how much longer this sage will continue, but seeing as how Glenn hasn’t fully practice in so long, I can’t imagine we’d see him back in the starting lineup before the Week 9 bye.
