The inactive lists for the Bengals and Jaguars have been released for today’s game in Cincinnati. All seven of the Bengals’ inactive players are dealing with an injury of some sort, so there are no healthy scratches for today.
Here are the players that the Bengals will be without today:
- WR A.J. Green
- OL Andre Smith
- OL John Miller
- DL Carlos Dunlap
- DL Carl Lawson
- CB William Jackson III
- CB Dre Kirkpatrick
Not including Green (ankle), who has missed the entire season up to this point, that is six starters from this year’s team not playing in this game. Smith (ankle) has been replaced by John Jerry for the past two weeks at left tackle, and Alex Redmond will start for Miller (groin) at right guard, Redmond started 15 games last year at that position for Cincinnati.
Dunlap (knee) has now missed two consecutive games after playing in every game since Week 3 of the 2012 season. Lawson (hamstring) started for Dunlap last week but will be replaced by Andrew Brown this time around.
Jackson (shoulder) and Kirkpatrick (knee) will be replaced by Darqueze Dennard and B.W. Webb. Dennard is making his 2019 debut and figures to play on the outside with Webb on the other boundary and Tony McRae in the slot.
Only Dunlap wasn’t declared out for this game on Friday, but he was unlikely to be active after being listed as doubtful. With all available players suiting up, this means that rookie quarterback Jake Dolegala will be in uniform for the first time this season. Don’t expect him to go out onto the field unless something disastrous happens.
Looking at the opposite sideline, here are the inactive players for Jacksonville:
- RB Devine Ozigbo
- WR Marqise Lee
- TE Geoff Swaim
- OL Brandon Thomas
- DT Dontavius Russell
- LB Austin Calitro
- CB Parry Nickerson
Lee (ankle) and Swaim (concussion/ankle) were each declared out of Friday, making everyone else healthy scratches.
The notable omission here is Dede Westbrook (shoulder), who was a game-time decision.
