The Anthony Zettel era in Cincinnati is over, but the Cordy Glenn era may not be.

The Bengals have waived Zettel and added Glenn back onto the 53-man roster today, as announced today by head coach Zac Taylor at his press conference.

Zettel was signed by the team late last week after they suspended Glenn for Sunday’s game for internal disciplinary reasons. On Sunday, Zettel played 30 snaps all over the Bengals’ defensive line. He was acting as the defense’s third defensive end with both Carlos Dunlap and Carl Lawson out of the lineup.

Glenn is now back on the roster, but wasn’t with the team today, per Taylor. There’s obviously still a rift between Glenn and the Bengals and that may not be resolved in time for when they travel to London on Thursday for this week’s game against the Rams.

Glenn was cleared by the team to return to practice last week after missing the first six weeks with a concussion, but only practiced once before being suspended after getting into an altercation with a member of the coaching staff.

For now, Glenn may play again for Cincinnati, we just don’t know if this will be the week it happens.
