Here we go again Bengals fans. Cincinnati get to return home for their second home game of the season. It is hard to imagine the confidence in this team could be any lower after falling to 0-4 and not even looking competitive against a bad Steelers’ team on Monday Night Football.

There is still hope for a watchable game this week. The winless Cardinals come to town. These teams both have rookie head coaches searching desperately for their first wins, and I’d say one of them has to get it. However, Arizona already has a tie on the season, so maybe they don’t.

The Bengals will be without A.J. Green and John Ross at wide receiver as well as Cordy Glenn at offensive tackle. Who knows what Zac Taylor could be planning to try and turn things around with this offense that has failed to get out of park for a majority of the season, and one that has been especially bad at finishing off drives in the redzone.

The Cardinals have looked like a team that is still in the middle of a rebuild. First overall pick. Kyler Murray, has had his ups and downs this season, as to be expected with any rookie quarterback. We will have to see if the Bengals can keep him from having a career day like they allowed Mason Rudolph to have on Monday night.

Of course, running back David Johnson will be the biggest issue Cincinnati will have to deal with all day. He hasn’t been quite as good in years past, but he has two games with more that 100 total yards, and last week he had 99 receiving yards on eight catches. That could be trouble for Cincinnati’s linebackers.

What are you hoping to see from the Bengals this week?
