Alex Erickson got the start today for the injured John Ross III, but his day might be cut short.
Erickson left the game in the second quarter with a head injury. His head hit the ground hard after attempting to convert a third down.

Erickson was able to get up on his own and was seen walking with the trainers to test for a concussion. The team has ruled him doubtful to return.
INJURY UPDATE: WR Alex Erickson is being evaluated for a potential concussion and is doubtful for return.

If Erickson is ruled out, it likely leaves Stanley Morgan in the game as his replacement. Morgan immediately replaced the injured Erickson, and the team has just Damion Willis left as depth.
Erickson has not been very productive to start this season. He entered the game with just six receptions and 55 yards on the season. This was his first start since last season, when he played for Tyler Boyd to close out the 2018 season. Hopefully his head injury isn’t too serious, as the Bengals are dealing with enough of those as it is.
