A Marcus Peters pick-six has given the Ravens a 28-3 lead over the Bengals before halftime. After that play, the Bengals lost two key players on offense.

Giovani Bernard has been declared OUT with a right knee injury. Drew Sample has also been declared OUT with a left ankle injury.

However, the Bengals have since changed Bernard’s status to doubtful, so there’s at least some microscopic chance he returns.

Bernard got his first carry of the day when he was tackled awkwardly and hurt his knee. Sample was injured around the same time, though it was unclear if it happened before or after Bernard’s injury.

The Bengals are struggling to keep pace with the Ravens offense and losing both of these players isn’t going to help. Sample, a rookie, had just 27 yards on four receptions going into this game. Bernard had just 80 rushing yards on 30 carries through eight games of his season, and in his absence, Joe Mixon figures to get even more snaps in pass protection.
