It was bad enough that the Bengals were out one elite player in A.J. Green. Now it appears they could be without two this week against the Raiders.
Geno Atkins missed practice today with what’s being called a knee injury. Atkins practiced yesterday and it was originally thought that he was being given a rest day today. Unfortunately, that was not the case, and Atkins’ injury is something to monitor tomorrow before the Bengals leave for Oakland on Saturday.
Along with Atkins and Green, Dre Kirkpatrick (knee), Alex Redmond (knee/ankle) and Drew Sample (ankle) were also non-participants as they were yesterday. None of the three, especially Sample, figure to play on Sunday.
The Bengals did get Alex Erickson (back) practicing in limited fashion after he missed yesterday’s practice. He along with Bobby Hart (shoulder) were limited today, as was Hart yesterday.
Per usual, Tyler Eifert had his rest day yesterday and was back in full today.

Not much changed today for the Raiders’ practice in terms of injuries. Trent Brown (knee), Rodney Hudson (ankle), Josh Jacobs (shoulder) and Josh Mauro (groin) all remain limited today after they were limited yesterday.
Dwayne Harris (foot) was a full participant yesterday but was limited today, David Sharpe (calf) did not practice after being limited yesterday, and Trayvon Mullen (illness) practiced in full today after missing yesterday entirely.
