It sounds like Auden Tate avoided a major injury Sunday.
Late in the 17-10 loss to the Raiders, Tate made a fantastic 3rd-and-19 catch to keep the Bengals’ comeback alive. But as he hit the ground, Tate’s head bent awkwardly on a hit by a Raiders defender, and the receiver went down on his back.
A good sign was Tate attempted to get himself up, but trainers kept him down just in case the injury was significant. He was later carted off the field, left the stadium, and was transported to a local medical facility for more testing.
Not long after, Tate was released and allowed to travel back to Cincinnati with the team. He then took to Twitter to thank fans for the support while saying he’s “good.”
I’m good y’all appreciate the love and prayers

It’s hard to say how long this injury could keep him out, but it sounds like it won’t end his breakout season.
