Bengals vs. Jets injury report: Nick Vigil misses second straight practice

With Nick Vigil likely out for this week, the Bengals could have just four linebackers at their disposal again.

For this year’s Thanksgiving, the Bengals should be thankful for all the healthy ankles they have on their roster.

A.J. Green (ankle) did not practice today and can be prematurely declared out for Sunday’s home game against the Jets. Along with Green, Drew Sample and Nick Vigil also missed today and yesterday’s practice sessions with injured ankles.

Sample was not expected to return to the field after missing the last two weeks with his injury. Vigil played the entirety of last Sunday’s game but clearly won’t be ready to go this week.

With Vigil presumed out, it’s good that Jordan Evans (hamstring) returned to practice today after missing yesterday’s session. Darqueze Dennard and Tyler Eifert also returned today after getting rest days yesterday.

Geno Atkins was given another rest day for the second straight week and was out along with Cethan Carter (concussion) and Alex Redmond (elbow). Redmond was expected to be placed on Injured Reserve, but remains on the active roster.

Brandon Wilson (hand) has practiced fully for the last two days and should be good to go provided he doesn’t experience a setback tomorrow.

The only changes on the Jets’ injury report involved Brandon Copeland, who practiced in full today with a hip and thumb injury. He was limited yesterday.

Chuma Edoga (knee), C.J. Mosley (groin), and Paul Worrilow (quadriceps) did not practice today after missing yesterday’s practice as well. Sam Darnold has practiced in full the last two days and his playing status shouldn’t be in doubt for Sunday.
