Bengals vs. Ravens injury report: Lamar Jackson misses practice

There seems to be a bug spreading in Baltimore.

Cold rain poured down on Cincinnati today, and it perfectly encapsulated the mood at Paul Brown Stadium.

A.J. Green (ankle) told reporters before today’s practice that he will not be playing on Sunday against the Ravens. Green missed yesterday’s practice with swelling in his ankle and obviously did not practice today either. He’s listed as out indefinitely.

This is obviously bad news for a Bengals team looking to help out Ryan Finley in his first-ever start at quarterback, and his additional comments bring up questions about his potential future in Cincinnati.

Regardless, the team still has to play this week and even though they won’t have Green, they should be getting back other injured players. Darqueze Dennard (hamstring), Cordy Glenn (concussion), Carl Lawson (hamstring), and John Miller (groin) all went full today, just like they did yesterday.

If Dennard, Lawson and Miller are full participants tomorrow, they should be playing on Sunday. Glenn, on the other hand, may not be starting regardless if he practices or not. Zac Taylor said yesterday that either Andre Smith or John Jerry will start at left tackle.

Tyler Eifert (rest) also practiced today, as expected.

Dre Kirkpatrick (knee) and Alex Redmond (ankle/knee) were out again today and are likely out for Sunday.

The Ravens could also be dealing with some issues of their own. Yesterday, Marshal Yanda did not practice as he was recovering from an illness. Yanda was limited today with his bug, but it was Lamar Jackson’s turn to sit out practice with an illness.

Aside from Jackson, Brandon Williams (non-injury related) also did not practice. The four players who didn’t practice on Wednesday: Mark Ingram (NIR), Ronnie Stanley (knee), Marshal Yanda (illness), and Earl Thomas (knee) did practice today, but only Ingram went full. The other three were limited.

Chris Moore (thumb) was also limited today after going full yesterday.
