Bengals running back Joe Mixon had his second highest rushing total of the season in the Bengals loss to the Patriots, but the highlight of his day may have come just after the game.
Mixon got to meet The Goat himself and although Mixon is a top NFL player and is surrounded by top NFL players every day, meeting Brady was a big deal for him.
Jersey exchanges have become very popular amongst the NFL’s top players and Mixon wanted to exchange with Brady, but after meeting the 4-time Super Bowl MVP, Mixon became tongue-tied.
Bruh.. I still can’t believe I shook @TomBrady hand today and had a lil conversation with him I ain’t gone lie I wanted to ask for his jersey but was too scared to ask ♂️

What’s great about this is how relatable it is.
Most of us will never have a chance to meet Brady, but we can all appreciate how anxious he must have felt meeting the future hall-of-famer.
My Dad has told a story for years about being on a flight with Wayne Gretzky. He has always regretted not asking for an autograph and will likely never get a second chance.
Fortunately, there was a happy ending for Mixon.
Great game Joe, I’ll send a jersey your way! https://t.co/U2Et9XYgzK

That’s right, due to the magic of Twitter, Mixon is going to get his Brady jersey and as you can see, he is very happy about it.
Of course, Brady is not just any NFL star to Mixon. He’s more of a home town hero.
The two NFL stars were born only 19 miles from one another, but 19 years apart.
Oh man!! I’m lost for words Appreciate you #BayLegend https://t.co/3yG18pzpSI

Mixon is getting his Brady jersey and he is happily returning the favor.
It’s cool to see players get excited about the same things that fans care about.
