In preparation for their last two games, the Bengals learned that they will not have A.J. Green for either of them.
Green announced after his meeting with foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson that his ankle is still not close to 100% and will not play for the remainder of the season. This gives the Bengals the opportunity to finally place him on the Reserve/Injured list, but for now, he’ll remain listed on the weekly injury reports.
Joining Green from today’s injury report are John Miller (concussion) and Darius Phillips (illness). Miller suffered his concussion during Sunday’s game against the Patriots and did not return. Zac Taylor said that Miller is in the concussion protocol.
Geno Atkins, Darqueze Dennard and Tyler Eifert all had their weekly Wednesday off.
Michael Jordan was originally announced as a full participant with a neck injury but is labeled as non-participant on the team’s official website. He did not exit Sunday’s game with any injury, but it’s worth monitoring as the week progresses.
The Dolphins had six players limited during their practice today, the most notable one being Devante Parker (hip). Parker was snubbed of a Pro Bowl nomination this season as he closes in on 1,000 receiving yards and a new contract. He’s been the Dolphins’ biggest bright spot by far and hasn’t missed a game all season.
Other limited players for Miami were fellow receivers Albert Wilson (hip) and Allen Hurns (ankle/knee) along with Zach Sieler (ankle), Nik Needham (groin) and Chandler Cox (shoulder).
Ryan Fitzpatrick (shoulder) was also listed as a full participant.
