The 2019 season is mercifully winding down for the Cincinnati Bengals, who have just two games left before the offseason begins.
This week, the Bengals are in Miami to face the Dolphins in a battle of two teams in contention for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. A Bengals loss would give them the top pick, but a win at Miami could ultimately cost them said pick if they also beat the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.
That has fans very conflicted heading into the final two-game stretch, as a loss would give the Bengals the chance to take anyone they desire in the 2020 draft. But if you’re a fan of the Bengals, is it right to root for them to lose?
Either way, fan confidence level remains low with the season winding down, though it did take a small bump after the Bengals’ blowout loss to the New England Patriots. Perhaps that’s because a lot of fans think getting one step closer to the No. 1 pick is good news for this franchise.
