As the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns limp towards the finish line, both teams will be fielding banged-up rosters for Sunday’s game in Paul Brown Stadium.
For the Bengals, they placed William Jackson III (shoulder) on the Reserved/Injured list after initially declaring him out for the game. Jackson re-injured the shoulder that he popped out of socket back in October last Sunday and couldn’t finish the game. In his place entered Darius Phillips, who recorded his second interception of his second season in only his second game of the year of which he played more than four snaps.
Phillips will likely start for Jackson and will have Tony McRae (concussion) behind him as depth. McRae practiced full again today after suffering his concussion on Sunday. John Miller (concussion) also practiced full and will start at right guard.
Stanley Morgan (concussion) was not so lucky as he missed practice all week and is considered doubtful to play, which essentially means he’s out. Morgan’s eventual absence is a reason why wide receiver Trenton Irwin was one of the players promoted from the practice squad after Jackson went to I.R.

The Browns received good news and bad news before today’s practice. The good news is that Jarvis Landy (hip) was able to get a full practice in after being limited yesterday and is expected to play. The bad news is that Odell Beckham Jr. (groin/illness) would miss practice with a sudden illness and is now questionable.
Like Landry, Beckham was limited this week with his injury and figured to be a game-time decision if he didn’t get a full practice in before the end of the week. Now, it’s unclear if Cleveland’s offense will have their No. 1 receiver out on the field.
Along with Beckham, TE Pharaoh Brown (illness), Ricky Seals-Jones (illness) OT Kendall Lamm (knee), C JC Tretter (knee), DT Sheldon Richardson (back), and DE Olivier Vernon (knee) are all questionable. Odds point to a couple of these players not dressing for Sunday’s game.
